The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, starring Ben Stiller, changed my life. If you haven’t seen it, do! There’s a scene in which Walter runs to a waiting helicopter and jumps on while David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” is playing, and that did it. I decided to jump on as many helicopters as I could.
Within a week I had deemed Iceland would take too long to prepare for, so I booked a week-long trip to Alaska and hike in Denali. Looks like I have some shopping, work-outs, and planning to do!
