I know, I know, it’s been a long time since we updated you on our adventures… or lack thereof. Following the foot injury (see the November post), I had shoulder surgery to fix some issues in there. Needless to say there wasn’t a hike at all during December. Our adventure consisted of just trying to get the house decorated. However, New Year’s Eve provided for our greatest adventure yet:

Dexter and I tied the knot in our home on NYE, and this weekend, after weeks and weeks of trying to take it easy, we’re off for some snowshoeing in Maine. Most likely no packs yet as I still don’t have much strength in the shoulder, but we’ve been hitting the gym for a little while and I’m on the bike and stairs a bit. I can’t wait to get out and do SOMETHING.
So, we’ll be getting back into the wild soon. Planning trips to Maryland, Nova Scotia, and Europe this year so we need to get crackin’!
