September 23 – Today was another big travel day, but not because of time. THERE’S SO MUCH TO SEE!!! We had a rough idea of what we were doing this day, but our mantra was (and remains, I think), let’s wing it and see where we end up!

September 22 – Big travel day. We were driving from Stykkishólmur to Mývatn so we knew we had to get moving. We got up and it was still a bit rainy, but not terrible. We packed up and drove off, heading toward the parking lot near the docks.
September 21 – We were up fairly early and ready to get our adventure started. The place was very comfortable so we got good sleep. AirBnB Melás 9 Reykjanesbær, Southern Peninsula, if you’re interested. Close to the airport and grocery stores. First thing was first… COFFEE.
